Work for Good Foundation is established on 27 th February 2021, India is the country with the
largest widow population in the world. It is estimated that there are 40 million widows in India.
Widows are disowned by relatives and many women seek informal work as domestic laborer’s
or turn to beg or prostitution. In some cases, widows can become liable for the debts of a
deceased spouse.
We have many widows in our community and suffering without proper nutrition food and with
poor health conditions and some of them are suffering with HIV and AIDS, so we decided to
help them with monthly groceries and medical assistance every month,
Aims & Activities
The “ WORK FOR GOOD FOUNDATION” may have activities extended any where in
India.
Assisting in medical emergencies, reproductive, maternal, neonatal, child and adolescent healthcare.
Imparting 21st century skills like innovation, problem solving and leadership to adolescents.
Elderly Care
To initiate and run services related programmes like homes/ short stay home for the elderly
people.
